We are getting close

Hi All! 

We are getting closer to the next newsletter! We are still looking for information from y'all. Make sure that we have a list of the babies born into your family from 2009 to now. We also need a list of anyone who has gotten married and anyone serving in the military. We also would like to know if anyone has passed away so that we can let others in the family know. We don't want to leave anyone out. 

We are super excited that the Reunion is coming up and we can't wait to see everyone!

Exciting News!!

We have some exciting news! I want to tell you but lets talk about this great picture that we have here. This is James M. Godbehere. He is one of William Daniel Godbehere brothers, the youngest in fact. The exciting news about this it that James had a son Jap Godbehere. The same Jap Godbehere that convinced William Daniel Godbehere (Jap would be his nephew) that he should move to Arizona. 

I am so excited to tell you that we have reconnected with some family members from Jap E. Godbehere line. It is so wonderful that we are able to exchange genealogies as well as letting them know about our Godbehere Family Reunion. They are excited and it looks like we are going to get to met them. Some have expressed interest in joining us for our next Godbehere Family Reunion on April 17, 2011. What a fun time we are going to have at the reunion next year! Be sure to mark you calendars.

The Committee Meeting...

First we want to thank those who came to the committee meeting this past Saturday! We got a lot accomplished and are so grateful for the ideas and help that you will be providing.

On to the News!!!! NEXT YEARS GODBEHERE FAMILY REUNION WILL BE APRIL 17, 2011. 

It is once again on Palm Sunday! It will be held once again at Saguaro Ranch Park from 11am to 4 pm! 
We all love Saguaro Ranch Park!

It will once again be a Potluck Lunch! So don't forget to bring your favorite food item to share with everyone!

We will be sending out letters this summer to family members asking that you help us and be your families Representative. We need you to help us with births, deaths, marriages, and military service. We have some ideas on who these people are gonna be but if you would like to be your family rep please let us know. This is for the information that we all love to see on the newsletter!

We have once again decided that we will be raffling off another Godbehere book, From here to there with the Godbeheres, as well as any other items that will be donated... If you have craft or a skill please share it and place it in the raffle for the 2011 reunion. If you have any questions about the raffle please e-mail us Dori has agreed to help with the raffle and keep it organized! Thank you Dori!

This year there will also be printed name tags with your family tree printed on it! So if you need to get us information regarding your family please let us know. Tiffany and Ginger will be working on all the family history and the large family tree that will be posted at the reunion.

There will once again be games for the children and don't worry adults there will be some games for you too...

We are so excited for next years reunion! We that you are too.

Reminder!!

Hi All!  Don't forget that this Saturday evening at 7pm is a committee meeting for the Godbehere Family Reunion.  It will be held at Nikki's house! We really need your support and your input to plan next year's reunion.  We need people to bring suggestions of what parks we could have the reunion at that wouldn't be as costly.  Any other thoughts or suggestions you may have will be appreciated.  We hope to see you there! If you are out of town and are unable to attend you may send any thoughts via email.

So you might have heard...

that Pamela Croteau (Martha Mandile's daughter) is having Godbehere get-together..... It is this Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 1 to 4 pm at her home. Some expressed disappointment at the reunion being canceled and so Pamela is hosting a get-together at her house and it is still pot-luck. There are some family members coming to town so, if you would like to see them please feel free to join them at Pamela's home!

The Godbehere Family Reunion will be next Year 2011.... Don't forget that there will be a Godbehere Family Reunion Meeting on April 17, 2010 at Nikki Wilson's home at 7 pm. We really hope that you will come to have your voice heard and to help with the planning. We want the Godbehere Family Reunion to be a pleasant experience for all.... Please help with that.
